Troubleshooting
ENGINE IS RUNNING BUT NO WATER IS FLOWING.
CAUSE:
- Water is turned off
- Hose is kinked
- Nozzle is plugged
- Pump seals are damaged
SOLUTION:
- Turn water supply on
- Unwind hose and remove kinks
- Unclog nozzle (watch how-to video)

ENGINE BOGS DOWN WHEN LOADS ARE CONNECTED
CAUSE:
- Nozzle is clogged
- Defective pump
- Engine speed is too slow
SOLUTION:
- Unclog per instructions
- Contact service center
- Increase engine speed per engine manual

ENGINE WON’T START OR STARTS BUT RUNS ROUGH
CAUSE:
- On/off switch is turned ‘off’
- Dirty air cleaner
- Out of fuel
- Stale fuel
- Not enough speed or force is used for recoil start
- Water in fuel
- Speed control not set to ‘run’
- Low oil level
- Engine has lost compression
SOLUTION:
- Turn on/off switch to ‘on’
- Clean air filter
- Fill fuel tank
- Drain fuel tank and refill with fresh fuel
- Read and follow directions.
- Drain fuel tank and refill with fresh fuel
- Move speed control to the ‘run’ position
- Add oil to the proper level

ENGINE SHUTS DOWN DURING OPERATION
CAUSE:
- Out of fuel
- Fault in engine
- Low oil level
SOLUTION:
- Adjust pressure of the blasting system per Owners Manual
- Turn up the media rate to the next highest number
- Check for media clogs, cuts in tube and kinks
- Change the type of media to a more aggressive media
PUMP LEAKS WATER
CAUSE:
- Thermal release valve leaks water
- Pump seals or valves are worn
SOLUTION:
- The water temperature inside the pump has exceeded the set limit; squeeze the trigger to allow cool water to flow thru the pump. Do not allow pressure blasting system to idle for extended periods.
